    Super convenient if you don’t want to do the boring sanding and priming. Unfortunately I had some problems with delivery but when I contacted customer service they were very prompt to respond and fixed the problem immediately!

    Finished my third cooler. If you are just interested in the art aspect and getting right to the design/painting etc, using Coolers by U is easily the best way to go. I used old school overhead projector. Traced my design, and I was painting my first side in 15 minutes. The 26 qt is a great size for most uses, and from a purely cooler aspect, it does a great job of keeping things cold too. Shipped fast and great customer service. No complaints here, Will be using again for X-mas presents in a few months.

    Paint went on smooth and didn't chip. The only issue is that the handle hits the back of the top when it opens so it messed up my paint unless I was careful to open the top while holding the handle a little so it wouldn't interfere. Love the cooler though!

    I ordered this for a fraternity formal and have had no problems at all. Yes, the top is bumpy, but that didn't pose any problems for me. The paint goes on smooth and doesn't chip easy. Mostly, I'm just thrilled that I didn't have to sand and prime! This cooler is great, amazingly priced, and I would highly recommend!

    I brought from this company last year for my boyfriends fraternity formal in April and he loved it! I just brought another one for this upcoming one because of how high-quality the last one was. With no sanding or prepping I was able to paint right on it and he uses it all the time!

    Just got my cooler today and I already started working on it for my boyfriends formal! There were a few problems with shipping (USPS problems, not the company!) and Brittany from the Support Team was such great help trying to track down where the package was, and even offered to send an additional one when it wasn't found. I'm excited to see how it turns out once i'm done painting

    I was skeptical about buying this cooler in the first place, and I wish I listened to my instincts. They claim you do not need to sand or prime but as soon as I tried to tape off a side, my painters tape ripped off a strip of paint. I emailed customer service about, and their suggestions were unhelpful and will cost more money. When I wrote back saying I was still unhappy, they were dismissive with me. I urge people to buy somewhere else.

    This cooler saved my life. It was only a few days before my formal and I was in desperate need of a cooler(preferably primed and sanded already for me). My friend recommended this paintable cooler so I ordered one along with the screw on bottle opener(must buy for the guys). Everything painted on perfectly and there were no complaints. Also, this is a great gift even if it isnt for a formal, like for a friend or relative that likes to paint. Have fun painting!
